We have noticed that some tour operators illegally offer their clients desert excursions on SNIM's ore train. These operators even use photos of tourists on mineral-loaded wagons to promote their activities.
Our Legal Department has already launched proceedings, especially in Europe, to stop this unauthorized practice that exploits SNIM's infrastructure, name, and image.
We must emphasize that SNIM does not authorize travel aboard ore wagons, as it endangers travelers' safety and health. This practice contradicts SNIM's values as a company committed to ethical, socially responsible practices that prioritize people's safety and health.
SNIM reminds everyone that we reserve ore wagons exclusively for transporting minerals, and we strictly prohibit traveling on piles of ore. The train includes cars specifically for passenger transport. SOMASERT, the tourism services operator of the SNIM Group, manages this passenger service.
